Please do not use this gym! They will try about anything to rip you off. The managers are rude to people and are unprofessional

I pre-paid for personal training sessions. I used two (one which was basically the same as the bootcamp class and a waste of time because I ended up taking the class) then decided that I am familiar with the equipment and that I didn't need the last two session. I called about a refund and the manager said that there are no refunds. I asked if that was written down on paper since there was no contract that I signed and he said it wasn't it was up to the managers discretion so I called this number and the man I spoke with said that it is the billing department so I asked for corporates phone number and he said he doesn't have that information. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. They need to be reported to the better business borough because they are taking advantage of people and it is not okay.

There is no such customer service dept at Crunch. This # is billing only & rep said no customer service dept for company & could tell me nothing about Crunch or even how many gyms nation wide or give me corp phone number. This company is a farse!

None of your numbers work. It Monday and is now 9:43am I called 800-547-1743 and it told me you are closed and will be open from 8am. what is going on? none of the representative at the location can help me.

The other number 866-428-9664 keeps asking me to choose a location for schedules. I need to speak with someone.

I purchased the 3 month agreement for a personal trainer on June 2nd. I then switched trainers twice because one quit. Before he quit, he cancelled on me 4 times and then gave me 2 free sessions to go along with it. When I got the new trainer, he cancelled on me 3 times. On August 15th, I cancelled my agreement so I wouldn't be charged for September. However, I was charged still. I called to get the money refunded but the manager at the Florence Crunch told me I couldn't have my money back because I used a session after I cancelled. (I was told by the trainer I had 9 free sessions). I even said I would take the loss on that one session, and just to refund me the other 7 for this month, and I was told no. I am outraged not only with how many times I have been cancelled on during 3 months and didn't really get the results I expected, but also in how this has been handled. I would not have used the sessions if they were not for free.

I signed up full year at Crunch in Lake Forest CA on El Toro. I like the layout and all but the staff is like a clown in a circus show.

One of my athlete's sign up the same time. We were there working out and I have some training tips cause I am a coach at school. It was just a few things they needed to know so I presented it to them.

Head manager came up and said you can not train here, he did not ask me he said directly "you can not train here" said Okayama I knew that. Afterwards my athlete went to another place to workout and I continue to workout as well, I went over to give my weight gloves to them and two mins later I went to clean the bench I was using and I asked the that manger how much can he bench just to start a cool conversation w/ him. He got into my face and his attitude sparked off I told you can not train here again and again.

I said what? I just walked over earlier to give my gloves to the person I know and talked and he claims I was training again.

I was not training again. He told me to leave and he will call me back when he feels like it's time to allow me in crunches again. It's been 3 weeks now. I was not officially training, spotting and talking with my athlete and giving some tips, is not official training.

Now I feel that manager miss judge me and punishing me as well, the manager name, Alexander.

Note: His voice and attitude was not professional and now I feeling as a customer being punish and I paid a full year... How sad, customer has rights.

This morning I asked the nice young man at the front desk at the Redwood City facility if he could put MSNBC back among available stations. He sheepishly said "she told me I couldn't because it's biased". Say what? Since when is a gym manager the arbiter of what's biased and what's not? There are three major cable news networks and all should be made available and members can decide for themselves what they choose to watch while excercising.

I was charged twice for personal training session that I did not even have! I've called 10 times in a weeks time span and have not received a call back! I am looking for corporate's number myself. This is ridiculous!

Crunch location Redwood City, California.
I was very disappointed to see CNN Station eliminated among television programs. Lisa, the manager operator, told meĀ  she wanted to have only one news station. I could not believe that a manager can decide what News program to watch at Gym. It would be nice if Crunch's Headquarters could help to restore CNN program among television programs of Redwood City, California..

Franchise or corporate, I don't care I want my money back. Why join a gym if i got relocated to another city about 30 min away and over an hour drive.

Been a member at the fitness site on the upper east side of Manhattan for many years. It has been operated by several different companies during that time.
Under Crunch, it has slipped below what should be expected at a prime Manhattan location:
- The ceiling in the men's dressing room has been leaking water into buckets for months,
- T.V's on the bicycles are broken for extended periods,
- The equipment is noisy, due to lack of servicing,
- Equipment I liked for years has been removed,
- Soap and towel dispensers are often empty.

It doesn't help to courteously ask for better conditions.

If you are HISPANIC do not attend Crunch gyms. They are discriminating against HISPANIC PEOPLE if you show up make sure you are not in shape.

My wife and her son were kicked out of the gym last night in Bonita Springs FL. My wife is re cooperating from shoulder surgery. Our son is bigger than any trainer they have. They were threatened by his size. They think he is a trainer. He doesn't drink or play poker his enjoyment is lifting weights. I have been there multiple times with my wife helping her and I must not be a threat. This is the third and last time we will have this problem.

This is the only number which allowed me to tell someone from Crunch that their White Plains gym has broken equipment which has been broken for 6 months or more. Some broken stuff doesn't even have a sign warning people.that it's broken . My daughter works out there twice a day and has seen people fall. She notified them about the situation but the manager says he's in and out often and doesn't see the little things. These are not little things. I'll call back in a week if my daughter tells me that the situation has not improved.
